Micronutrient therapy
Strengthens of the immune defense with medicinal mushrooms
The fungus Coriolus versicolor has activating effects on lymphocytes, leukocytes and natural killer cells. In East Asia Coriolus is traditionally used against bacterial and viral diseases as well as yeast infections (e.g. candida, herpes or flu infections). The Shiitake mushroom (Lentinus edodes) contains Lentinian, the bioactive beta-glucan fraction, which is considered to be an efficient stimulator of the immune system. It improves the release of immunoglobulin IgA on mucosal surfaces, increases the formation of monocyte-specific T cells and intensifies the cytotoxic effect of macrophages against bacteria and viruses. Shiitake extract also enables an increase in the intestine-associated immune defense. |

Supports intestinal flora
The support of the intestinal flora is especially important for fungal infections. Probiotic bacterial strains can reduce the foreign colonization of the intestinal mucosa with pathogenic germs and limit their growth. |
